The Role

The Ecosystem Administrator is accountable for efficient and effective support to EIT Digital Directors and Ecosystem Leads to facilitate the administrative and operational processes around ecosystem partners, and EIT Digital innovation and education activities and events.

The Ecosystem Administrator reports to the EIT Digital Regional Director North.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for ecosystem operations, partner interaction, also in collaboration with peers in the EIT Digital organisation;
  • Accountable for efficient and effective administrative support related to execution of EIT Digital matchmaking initiatives, partner activities and events, including regional outreach and marketing;
  • Assist in grant and EU proposal activities on the regional, national, and European level;
  • Responsible for documentation, accounting, controlling and reporting of some of the programmes and activities, including archives maintenance;
  • Responsible for partnership process for North Region, act as a secretary to North Region Partnership meetings;
  • Provide administrative support for logistics, security measures and office access.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc/BA in business administration or related field, MSc/MA is an asset.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience. Sound understanding of administrative processes. Experience in events planning, organising and execution, as well as marketing experience is a plus. 
  • Experience in accounting and reporting for national, regional and/or European funding schemes is desirable
  • Experience working in fast paced environment and/or in an international organisation is an advantage.
  • The candidate is to be proactive, service-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and motivated to drive continuous improvement based on sound analysis.
  • Good communication and outstanding organisational skills, including logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications and Services tools and as well as common virtual presence tools and technologies. Experience in using HubSpot or similar, is desirable.

Languages

Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Finnish language is highly desirable.
