Scope

Cyber-physical systems enable the physical world to merge with the virtual, leading to an Internet of things, data and services. RICH stands for ‘Reliable IP for time synchronized Channel Hopping networks’. It is a pan-European EIT ICT Labs activity in the innovation area Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). The objective of RICH is defining and achieving reliable wireless solutions for the ‘Internet of Things’ based on the IP protocol.

The RICH activity is requesting the engagement of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) with relevant experience, expertise and access to technological systems for the monitoring and control of critical infrastructures. Access to the physical infrastructure is an essential requirement. The partner will have the opportunity to work towards the commercialisation of the RICH technology through supported field-testing and technical experts.

The SME will be subcontracted to take part in the RICH activity from May 1st until December 31st 2015. Two companies can be funded with allocated budgets of up to EUR 60.000 and EUR 50.000 correspondingly. The allocation shall cover all costs related to the project, including travel costs. The detailed specification for results, delivery of results and financial reimbursement will be worked out once suitable candidates have been selected.
