SICS Open House is an annual event where all the researchers of the Swedish Institute for Computer Science showcase their projects which in many cases is carried out in EIT ICT Labs activities and with our partner organisations throughout Europe. Sometime it also involves some of our master students that can make their thesis work at SICS, located in the Electrum building, the hub where you also find the EIT ICT Labs Stockholm CLC.
The morning offers some inspirational talks and trend reporting. This year the keynote speakers are Peter Magnusson, Senior Vice President at Oracle and Magnus Larsson, Global Technology Manager for ABB Robot Supply Unit.
After a networking lunch the SICS offices are open with an exhibition of projects, such as new solutions for digital health support, data analytics, security, automation, network management, software engineering, mobility and much more.
Participation is free of charge, but you are asked to register at www.sics.se/events/sics-open-house-2015 where the complete programme will be presented.
Most talks and demos will be in English.
