This year 366 students from 43 countries from all over the world participated on the Summer Schools organised by EIT Digital Master School. These events offered the opportunity for students, researchers and business people to meet, network, cooperate and explore new developments in any of the cities where the <link about-us locations>EIT Digital Co-Location Centres are located.
Summer Schools are mandatory for our Master School students, but upon availability places are also available for those who are not enrolled in any of educational programmes offered by EIT Digital. This year 60% of the participants came from our Master School students, and nearly 10% of the external students arrived from any of the <link about-us arise-europe>ARISE countries.
Summer Schools are designed with a strong Innovation & Entrepreneurship component in a learning-by-doing approach. Similar to the previous years, business plan development project and thematic presentations, company visits, and also great social activities were part of the programmes. Hard work combined with fun leave unforgettable moments ones the participants return home from the Summer Schools.
