The PhD candidates of EIT ICT Labs Budapest Doctoral Training Centre presented their business ideas on 21 November, on the occasion of the visit of Christian Queinnec, head of EIT ICT Labs Doctoral School to Budapest. After the session the one year anniversary of the DTC was celebrated with a birthday cake.

Christian Queinnec, head of the one year old EIT ICT Labs Doctoral School, visited the centre of EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group on 21 November, in order to hear the PhD candidates of EIT ICT Labs Budapest Doctoral Training Centre presenting their business ideas and their plans for the future.

The event was opened by Zoltán Istenes, Manager of EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group and of EIT ICT Labs Budapest Doctoral Training Centre. Following the opening speech, Christian Queinnec greeted the PhD candidates of the doctoral programme, which integrates business approach into scientific research. Christian Queinnec commented on the presentation of each student, whose ideas concern topics such as Programming Programs, Efficiency Portability, Maintainability and Performance via Software Transformations.

After the presentations, the students and the managers celebrated the first anniversary of the Doctoral School together.
