Breed Reply offers not only funding but also in-depth support and know-how, as well as access to a vast network of people across Europe and the US. Having already invested in 18 startups including Callsign and Senseye, Angelidis is always looking to invest in new IoT startups across a range of industries, from healthcare to manufacturing.

 

Xin Hu: From EIT Digital Alumnus to CEO

Xin Hu - CEO & Co-founder Matchx - Digital transformation examplesXin Hu, one of EIT Digital Master School’s own graduates, is co-founder and CEO of MatchX, a Berlin-based IoT scaleup providing end2end LPWAN solutions for a range of sectors. With nothing but their LPWAN expertise, Xin Hu and his team began manufacturing products in February 2017. Thanks to an investment from an angel investor at Deutsche Telecom, they immediately started to see sales revenues and won the Deep Tech Award the same year. Today, with customers across the world, MatchX are at the forefront of the Digital Data Network, valued at between 10 to 20 million dollars. Xin Hu wants to continue expanding his business by seeking out companies across Europe who may need the technology that MatchX offers.

 

Tuomas Syrjänen: An Inspiring Example of Digital Transformation

Tuomas Syrjänen - Futurice - Digital transformation examplesTuomas Syrjänen is co-founder of Futurice, a Helsinki-based software agency formed of experts in design, development, data science and consultation that help corporations from a range of industries reshape their businesses to achieve true digitalisation. Since co-founding Futurice in 2000, he has helped it become one of the fastest growing technology companies in Finland, with operations now in Tampere, Berlin, Dusseldorf and London. Syrjänen was chosen Leader of the Year by Fakta magazine in 2013, and is an internationally acclaimed speaker on building international growth organisations based on agility, lean, transparency and trust.
