5 start-ups coached by EIT Digital Business Development Accelerator will pitch on stage at Slush - one of the biggest European start-ups events located in Helsinki - among 100 competitors and in front of a jury of investors and industry experts.

Slush is the focal point for entrepreneurs and tech talent to meet with top-tier international investors, executives and media. In 2015, Slush takes place on 11-12 November in Helsinki, Finland. In 2014, Slush brought together over 14.000 attendees from 79 countries, more than 3.500 companies and 750 investors, representing 140 venture capital funds.

As a leading European innovation organisation focusing on digital technologies and offering Access to Finance services, EIT Digital will bring 25 of its most promising coached start-ups to Slush on Stand #15 (<link news-events events article eit-digital-at-slush-start-up-conference>click here for more details).

Inside the event, Slush 100 is a pitching competition where 100 companies will be on stage.

5 of the above EIT Digital coached start-ups were selected on record, by a jury of investors and the board of Slush to be part of the 100:

All Wednesday long, the 100 start-ups will pitch on the Pitching Stage. The 20 best companies will go to semi-finals and pitch again on Thursday morning. Eventually, the best of the best (4 companies) will continue to the finals held at the main Silver Stage on Thursday afternoon, in front of thousands of attendees and a jury of investors and industry experts.

The evaluation will be based on product, market potential, gained traction, competence of the team and investment readiness.
