The EIT Digital Challenge received a record-breaking 459 applications this year, and impressively, 34% of the applications are coming from companies led by women.
Twenty selected finalists had the chance to pitch their groundbreaking solutions to a panel of experienced experts and investors in an exciting finale held in Brussels as part of the Grow Digital 23 conference.
As a reward for their success, the ten winners will get access to the EIT Digital Growth Services programme consisting of 12 months of support focused on helping the winning scaleups to close their Series A and B financing rounds by accessing investors all across Europe.
Furthermore, the winners gain unprecedented access to EIT Digital's pan-European innovation network, which boasts 350+ partners. This exceptional exposure and connectivity will provide a substantial platform for these cutting-edge businesses to flourish.
During the event, a special prize sponsored by Indraventures, was awarded to Ekkono, from Sweden.
The scaleup will be invited to pitch its solution to the Indra Innovation Committee, present its product to potential customers through Indra, and receive support and mentoring from the Indraventures team.
"I am incredibly proud of the work that our team has carried out over the past six months to provide these companies with exposure at a full EU level. The quality of the companies and their pitches was unparalleled. I extend my warmest congratulations to all of them - I am confident that they will become great success stories," said Fabrizio Della Pace, EIT Digital's Challenges Lead.
