French scaleup Homeland, supported by EIT Digital Accelerator, raises €9M in Series A funding

With the support of the EIT Digital Accelerator, Homeland, a French scaleup providing a unique digital solution to the pain points of the traditional condominium real estate market, has completed a €9 million Series A financing round led by French investors.

Homeland brings efficiency and customer satisfaction to the real estate industry. Thanks to its proprietary SaaS platform enabling automation of recurring tasks and real-time reporting to customers, condominium managers become more efficient and up to twelve times more productive than traditional players. Homeland represents a unique offer for an industry that has not undergone its digital transformation yet.

Since May 2021, Homeland has been actively supported by the EIT Digital Accelerator in launching and coordinating the fundraising, which generated strong interest from multiple investors across Europe, resulting in a €9 million series A funding.

The recent fundraising includes commitments from Reflexion Capital and CDC Banque des Territoires, and Homeland’s historical investor Newfund.

EIT Digital team provided us with strong support by identifying and contacting potential investors throughout Europe. Even if we ended up closing a 100% French deal, thanks to EIT Digital’s network, we received offers from foreign investors and have established connections that will surely bear fruit in the coming months” commented Frédéric Remeur, CEO and co-founder of Homeland.

The funding will enable Homeland to accelerate market expansion, deploy its platform across Europe, and boost further product development. After its success in France, Homeland is planning to grow in the home market and internationally. In 2022, it will enter the Germany and Benelux markets.
