On May 26th, the Outreach Programme reached Bucharest, Romania, where Fabio Carati, Business Developer in Trento and Roberto Saracco, Trento Node Director, met with local start ups.
The event took place at the Bucharest TechHub, a nice structure similar in concept to our Co-Location Centres. The Outreach event was kicked off with a presentation from Roberto introducing the EIT ICT Labs, the Outreach Programme and providing an overview of relation between Research and Innovation explaining how EIT ICT Labs can help in moving from Research to Innovation and closing with an outline of possibilities offered by the technology evolution for the creation of start ups.
The floor was then taken by several start ups for their 5 minutes pitch followed by a discussion led by Fabio. There was a strong interest to participate in the Idea Challenge and in opportunities to be coached by EIT ICT Labs BDA team.
In the morning of the 27th a meeting took place with TechHub to set the bases for a continuous collaboration.
