More than 400 registrations from four continents and exotic countries such as Malaysia, Rwanda and Uzbekistan – the Telekom Innovation Contest powered by Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Germany, T-Mobile Poland and Magyar Telekom in Hungary reached many smart minds worldwide already.

On March 31st the submission platform will be closed. So the last call for ideas started. Till the end of March start-ups, students and other individuals can hand in innovative ideas in the five categories connected home, communication services, energy, virtual platform and cloud computing and develop this idea in a real product or service. Deutsche Telekom Group will contribute resources valued up to 500,000 Euro to make it happen. 

Start-ups, students and other individuals who want to participate do not need to submit a detailed business plan, but just a short outline of the idea. A list of all requested information is available at the contests' website. Once application ends an international jury will review all submitted ideas. At the end of April a shortlist of the best ideas will be announced, followed by a special pitch-day at EIT ICT Labs German Node in Berlin on May 31st.
