EIT ICT Labs is proud to announce the appointment of Dolf Wittkamper as the new Manager for the EIT ICT Labs’ Business Development Accelerator (BDA), a European wide team of experienced Business Developers. As BDA Manager, Wittkamper will play a major role in increasing the organisation’s overall impact, innovation and entrepreneurial strength in ICT. Dolf Wittkamper assumes the role held to date by Philippe Letellier.

The task of the EIT ICT Labs’ BDA is value extraction from the EIT ICT Labs innovation investment and eco-systems by stimulating and supporting the commercialization of mature technologies, the creation of new business and the growth of SMEs and Start-up’s to European level and world-class scale. The BDA team consists of a unique European team connected to the Nodes and associated Nodes of the EIT ICT Labs in Berlin, Eindhoven, Helsinki, Paris, Stockholm, Trento, London, Budapest and Madrid and operates from the Co-location Centres. The BDA team manages innovation cases from the Action Lines and the local eco-systems by scouting and coaching of innovation opportunities towards European success stories.

Previously Wittkamper has worked as a Business Developer for the Eindhoven University Innovation Lab and the EIT ICT Labs, coaching the CEO's and management teams of European ICT Start-ups and SME’s. Prior to this he was involved as (co)founder in several ICT start-ups, as Principal Consultant for Dialogic and MetaClue Associates and has held senior positions at Philips. Wittkamper graduated Cum Laude at the Design Academy Eindhoven and received his Master degree at the Delft University of Technology, faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.
