Over the course of 2023 we opened a new office in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Thessaloniki, Greece and we have signed a letter of intent with Riga Technical University for a new EIT Digital office in Riga, Latvia. We are “walking the talk” focusing more than ever in the widening EU countries.
Ever-growing pan-European reach built upon strategic synergies
With an ecosystem of 350+ partners, most of our programmes and initiatives are made in collaboration with them. In 2023 we have onboarded 60 new partners to our community joining forces in a wider array of programmes with key strategic players such as AI, Data and Robotics Association, the European Business Angel Network, the European Green Digital Coalition, Women in VC, Women 4 Cyber and the Plug and Play.
Expanded educational offer to learn more from the best
We have introduced an additional EIT Digital Master School Programme on FinTech for Business and launched a state-of-the art training on Generative AI, titled Generative AI Essentials. However, our training offer does not stop there! In 2023 we developed an intense course package tailored to entrepreneurs’ needs. As we know well, building and scaling a tech startup is a big undertaking, one that the recent global financial and social crises are testing on a whole new level. Speed Master is a 4-month online training for entrepreneurs that want to level up their startup developed and delivered by our expert team of business advisors. Check out the next edition here.
Pushing the digital innovation agenda with our partners
EIT Digital and its consortia partners now engage in more than 20 Strategic Partnership Projects, with a value creation of more then €110M. Check out the projects here.
Supporting Entrepreneurs and startups and has created 40 companies in the RIS and widening countries
Through the Open Innovation Factory and Venture Program EIT Digital supports more than 60 seed stage startups this year. Growing our equity portfolio to 300 startups.

Through the Growth Services efforts EIT Digital is supporting European deep tech scaleups on their growth journey, series A fundraising is our specialty, we helped raise more than €50M this year.
