On February 25th, contributors of activities related to the research action line "Internet Architecture & Technologies" with representatives of each node will meet in Paris node. For this kick-off meeting, the main objectives are to share knowledge between all the involved people and to prepare the next steps of this research action line.
Research activities in this action line aim at the development of new communication and networking architectures. The research activities focus on IP networks over simple, super-fast optical core networks, wireless networking, and new high performance networking architectures that are both extremely reliable and energy-efficient. The major challenges that we are facing concern the improvement of spectral utilization in wireless networks and the development of new economic models.
