On December 8th, 2010, sixty guests celebrated the launch of the Helsinki Node’s activities in a kick-off event in Helsinki. The EIT ICT Labs consortium agreement has been signed on November 11th, 2010 by the core partners Aalto University, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Nokia. In the kick-off event the guests listened to CEO Jonker’s speech about the EIT ICT Labs and Director Turpeinen’s presentation about the Helsinki Node as well as learned more about the partners’ research in demo sessions in the Helsinki Co-location centre.
