EIT Digital Eindhoven, in the Netherlands is an ecosystem of universities, research institutes, companies, valorisation centres and SME associations. The current partners in the Netherlands are: Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Twente, Philips, Utrecht University, High Tech NL, Océ, Bosch Security Systems, Signify, Bright Cape, ING Bank, InnoValor, IMEC, Nobleo, Innopay, Achmea Insurance, The Hague Security Delta, Pipple, CWI, Datacon, Bicore, EY Netherlands, Stokhos, InnoTractor, Kinetic Analysis and DroneMatrix.

EIT Digital Eindhoven is located at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven in the heart of the Brainport region.

In line with the aim of EIT Digital to turn Europe into a global leader in ICT Innovation, the partners who collaborate in the Eindhoven node want to make a lasting contribution to society through Innovation and Education in ICT. The partnership focuses on ICT innovations for Health & Wellbeing, new business creation, lifelong learning, Master School and Doctoral Programme. Innovation is accelerated by exploiting the wide use of shared living lab facilities to integrate and synergise education, research and business. EIT Digital partners agree in a common way-of-working from the two-fold strategy:

  • speed-up the go-to-market of ICT innovations
  • breeding a new generation of entrepreneurial ICT

EIT Digital in Netherlands has its Co-Location Centre (CLC) in Eindhoven and from 2017 a Satellite Co-Location Centre in Amsterdam.
