'AUGMENTED ASSET MANAGER' Innovation Activity in Paris

The Post-Master positions are open to all EIT Digital Master School graduates, who graduated the School in the academic year 2017 - 2018, 2018 - 2019 or 2019 - 2020. The Post-Master Professional works on activities in the context of the EIT Digital Innovation activity portfolio within key innovation areas. The work includes all stages and parts of the innovation process as technology and business model development. The intention of the position is to contribute to the Post-Master’s personal entrepreneurship development.

With the increasing complexity of the financial markets, our activity aims at using the most advanced techniques in artificial intelligence to help asset managers make the best decisions. Our partnership includes a leader in data collection (Refinitv) with a reference client (Lombard Odier) and an highy quantitative technology provider (AI Square Connect). The objective is to build a software and leverage on latest AI Square Connect research on deep reinforcement learning to find optimal portifolio allocations. The objective is to work within a startup environment for the next generation platform to assist asset managers in their decision process. We are mostly using deep learing and reinforcement learning to provide optimal portfolio allocations. We have already built a prototype in python with tensorflow to do deep reinforcement learning. We want to make our python libraries usable in google collab notebook with code protection.

Job Profile

We are looking for one Post-Master Professional that will perform the following tasks:

  • Create a solution in google collab notebooks that can call our python library with code protection. The idea is to have some authentification request done in C with tools like Cython, Nuitka or Shed Skin.
  • Work on improving our Deep RL models benchmarking our models with other reinforcement learning libraries like OpenAI Gym, Keras RL, Tensorforce, Stable baselines
  • Revisit our website to adatp to different environments (mobile, ipad, 16/9 computer screen, 4/3, etc..).
  • Work with Html and javascript; python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) and tensorflow + keras

The work will involve intense collaboration with AI Square Connect and other related technology providers that are actively participating the activity. English is the working language in the activity.

Location

Place of Employment is the EIT Digital Co-location Centre in Paris, France and occasionally the offices of AI Square Connect in Neuilly sur Seine. Occasional European travels to be expected.

'CryptoSentimentAdvisor' Innovation Activity in Berlin

Cryptoassets are still a high-risk and volatile asset class. In order to minimize the risks, the aim of this activity is to develop a sentiment-based decision support system for cryptocurrency trading. This will allow professional and retail clients to benefit from automated market analysis. To realize this system, Berlin-based JRC Capital will launch a new startup.

Job Profile

We are looking for one Post-Master Professional that will perform the following tasks:

  • Support the development of a scalable, real-time data analysis architecture based on message brokers (i.e. Apache Kafka)
  • Implement and deploy containerized data collection modules (i.e. scrapy, docker)
  • Perform data engineering tasks, supporting ETL, improving processing speeds
  • [Optional] Design and evaluation of sentiment analysis algorithms (python, anaconda stack)

'Personal Payment Terminal' Innovation Activity in Paris

As Visa, MasterCard and schemes push contactless payment to become mainstream, merchant's smartphone could be turn into a payment device by leveraging their NFC antenna. Ingenico wishes to bring card payment acceptance at low cost to small and micro merchants, extending traditional payment solutions by transforming smartphones into personal payment terminals. The postmaster will work hand in hand with Ingenico and its partners to make this transformation come true.

Job Profile

We are looking for an energetic and driven business Post-Master Professional to:

  • Participate in design of the solution, UX definition, end user experimentation and value proposition
  • Define business models for new solutions and and Go-To-Market definition
  • Organize focus groups to learn from final end users
  • Participate in Market and Ecosystem Watch

'PMEx' Innovation Activity in Paris

PMEx is a Fintech plaform that allows individual investors to trade their unlisted companies shares over the counter. One main part of the internal R&D program is dedictated to the digitalization of the shareholders aproval process. In that context, the Post-Master Professional will focus on the design and the architecture of the digitalization of the shareholder agreement into smart contracts.

Job Profile

We are looking for one Post-Master Professional that will perform the following tasks:

  • Prepare a state of the art report on the smart contracts applicable into legal area,
  • Identify and choose the most adapted Blockchain technology to implement the smart contracts,
  • With lawers support, formalize the shareholder approval process,
  • Design and implement a Proof of Concept
  • Extend the formalization to shareholder agreement semantic.

'The MAP Project' Innovation Activity in London

Activities: The MAP Project

The MAP Project is an innovative response to the problems faced by smaller film makers and content creators as they struggle to exploit the explosive growth of ‘Over the Top’ (OTT) channels in the TV industry, where the cost and complexity of licesing agreements is a real deterrent. The MAP Project will build a blockchain-based media trading platform that uses smart contracts to remove costly intermediaries and pays content owners directly. The MAP platform will be brought to market as a start-up, BlokFilm. This will be an opportunity for an individual to be involved in the development and launch of BlokFilm; combining their entrepreneurial/business and technical skills.    

Job Profile

We are looking for one Post-Master Professional that will perform the following tasks:

  • Design and implement virtualization and containerization methodologies for cloud based environments (e.g. VMs, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Develop blockchain principles, data types and structures is a plus
  • Work with video technologies and formats (preferential)
  • Identify new business opportunities in the independent film and digital creator sector - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.
