The Alumni Foundation creates a vibrant, active and successful EIT Digital alumni network. The foundation organises meet-ups, maintains an active community and discussion forum, keeps track of alumni careers and supports students and alumni to get in contact with companies, public institutions and academia. The Role
To support the growing demands of the EIT Digital Alumni network, we are looking for a motivated Community Coordinator with significant professional experience in international teams and the management of resources across multiple countries and languages.
The ideal candidate will need strong project coordination and event organisation skills, intercultural awareness and the ability to support remotely co-located teams. Routine tasks include maintaining the membership registry of the EIT Digital Alumni Foundation and informing the board about relevant updates from EIT Digital.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as Single Point of Contact for the EIT Digital Alumni community, ensuring high levels of engagement of the community with EIT Digital and its activities.
- Ensure all alumni are properly filed on alumni database and support database maintenance and updates with all relevant information and any evolution to an ad hoc EIT Digital talent platform.
- Organisation, planning and coordination of events and engagement activities for EIT Digital Alumni.
- Implementation of projects with other EIT KICs. For example, scouting and onboarding of new partnerships and the organisation of large scale events and meetings.
- Support the communication and engagement by creating, editing and publishing new content on the website (jobs, news articles, etc.) and social media channels.
- Develop and improve collaborations with other EIT Digital activities that can leverage the strengths of the alumni community.
- Support the EIT Digital Alumni Board with various day-to-day tasks and management of the EIT Digital Alumni Community.
- Administrative tasks such as, onboarding and tracking of members, monitoring the central mailbox, reporting and coordination with the EIT Digital Master School Office.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant work experience coordinating an Alumni community or a community of innovators.
- Excellent project management skills with strong knowledge of administrative aspects.
- Proven experience working with stakeholders and implementing outreach campaigns.
- Hands-on professional with attention to detail, proven community building capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with Drupal CMS and other EIT KICs is a big plus.
- Capable of flexibly adapting to the demands and roles required.
- Excellent team player who can effectively integrate with, collaborate and proactively work with EIT Digital staff.
Languages
Excellent command of English is required. Additional EU language is an asset.
Employment
This is a full-time position. Employment in one of our pan-European offices can be considered. Applicant may be required for occasional travel to other European offices.
