After a fantastic kick off in March, followed by an exciting period of pitch finals and the celebration of twelve winners, we are proud to kick off the next submission phase on the 1st of September.

Once again, twelve teams have the opportunity to win 320,000 Euro in total, six months office space at an EIT ICT Labs Co-Location Centre and coaching from the EIT ICT Labs Business Accelerator. But if you think that this is it, you are wrong: Winning the Idea Challenge also means access to the big innovation network of EIT ICT Labs with over 120 partners including some of Europe’s and the world’s leading organisations, universities, research institutes and companies in the field of ICT.

The contest

EIT ICT Labs calls students, innovators and early stage startups to submit ideas that address the topics Smart Energy SystemsInternet of ThingsCyber Security & Privacy, or Urban Life & Mobility. The best teams will be invited to either Berlin, Stockholm, Trento, or London (depending on the topic) and receive the chance to pitch their ideas in front of an expert jury.
