The Italian startup 'Earth Wind & Sun‘, finalist in Idea Challenge 2014 in the category Smart Energy Systems, is going to be incubated by INNOVA S.P.A. Group, which is located in Rome. The three Italian team members are receiving venture capital from INVENT S.A.S. – a company of INNOVA S.P.A. Group – and will move into a new office in Italy’s capital. According to the incubator the collaboration with EIT ICT Labs has been an important factor.  In Mid-March 2015 'Earth Wind & Sun‘ will fly to the USA to build up new partnerships and to promote their Smart Energy Meter „PiKu“ to US-American investors in Boston. The Italian startup built an innovative device to monitor and evaluate the power quality of a lot of electric nodes in a building or house – locally or remotely.
