The 5th EIT FORUM held on Cyprus

Representatives from the EIT and the European Commission met with KIC CEOs at the 5th EIT FORUM held on November 7th in Larnaca, Cyprus. 

The forum was kicked-off by an institutional dialogue on the state of play and an update on links and plans with EIT Foundation. Furthermore the group discussed how governance can effectively be streamlined by new working groups and thematic agendas. 

The agenda also inlcuded the overall progress on corporate issues as well as a special focus on Task Forces; mainly performance, simplification, communication, marketing and outreach. 

The Education and Entrepreneurship agendas were presented and among issues of future interest one could find the EIT Awareness Days planning and the EIT Conferences in Ireland, April 2013 and Lithuania, Autumn 2013.
