On January 28th 2015, the Berlin CLC hosted the German Node’s first Entrepreneurship Evening for the EIT ICT Labs Master School cohort studying in Berlin. In an evening moderated by the Berlin CLC Manager Oliver Heerde, Master School students were given the opportunity to present their startup projects to their peers and a forum of experts from TU Berlin’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship department and successful founders from the local ecosystem. 

First and second year students Marc Höffl (Gambify) Khan Reaz (MemoNom) Mahmoud Khodier (World Mixed Zones) and Nikki Mark Art Battin (Voici) received valuable feedback from an audience of some 70 attendees and were able to strike new contacts with the local founders. The evening’s Key Note was delivered by Berlin serial entrepreneur Fax Quintus, who presented his latest Start-Up i-mmersive and shared valuable experience from his past endeavors with the students. Local Start-Ups Virtenio and 3YourMind were available to provide insight into the pitfalls of the startup world and offered internship opportunities to the students. The evening was rounded off with pizza and softdrinks for everyone and received much praise from the participants.
