Jovan Golic (Privacy, Security & Trust Action Line Leader) was invited to give a keynote speech at the 10th International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology organized by the Iranian Society of Cryptology at Yazd University. The Conference will take place in Iran from August 29th-30th. The keynote speech will be on format- and syntax-preserving encryption methods, which, in particular are relevant for privacy protection of sensitive data in database records and for content protection in digital rights management. 

In Iran Jovan Golic has been invited to give also a series of talks at the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, and the Yazd University, Yazd. The talks will cover a broad range of topics including digital true random number generation, cryptanalysis of ciphers including the widely used RC4, security of NFC smart card protocols, privacy-preserving biometric authentication and encryption, and a presentation of the EIT ICT Labs and the Action line for Privacy, Security, and Trust.
