High-tech sensors developed by the start-up "Beast Technologies" will be used by the Italian national football team "Azzurri" in the trainings for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. "Beast Technologies" has developed sensors that collect training data and send them in real-time to the tablet or smartphone via  Bluetooth.

Force, speed and power data of each movement are collected through sensors (approx. 30 grams each). Collected data allows coach to monitor the physical conditions of the players and verify the progress of the team. Sensor can be attached to the weights and eventually to the athlete. Measuring the vibration of the muscles and stability of the movements allows to estimate the fatigue of the athletes and to avoid injuries.

Beast Technologies is located in the PilHub, incubator of the Politecnico di Milano, EIT ICT Labs partner. The start-up has recently became member of the Business Community of the EIT ICT Labs Business Development Accelerator. Beast Technologies is coached by Paolo Magni, Business Developer based in Italy.
