Final Idea Challenge 2015

The final of the Idea Challenge in Health and Wellbeing 2015 was embedded in the Innovation Day Eindhoven. 10 competing Idea Challenge finalists battled each other with a sharp 5 minute pitch on stage; before a live audience and an expert panel. One could feel the nerve racking tension on stage as there was a lot in stake to win one of the 3 prizes. Prizes include a guaranteed place in the European Business Accelerator plus seed money. Hence, to be selected out of 81 European startups meant already to be a splendid achievement and the subsequently pitching in front of a 200+ audience went together with that. Of course it was not only the art of the pitching performance that defined the winners. The expert panel had a FAQ in a separate room with each finalist. And the 3 winners were: 1 st prize: DAMAE Medical, 2nd prize: SENSOLUS, 3rd prize: 7Mind GmbH
