Networking at the exhibition

EIT ICT Labs' Action Line Health and Wellbeing presented the end-of-year results at the exhibition and seminar floor of Health Tech Event'14. The event was organised together with Jakaijima which organises the annual Health Tech Events at the High Tech Campus, Eindhoven. Joining this event delivered a broader audience and created more visibility for the Health and Wellbeing activities and startups.

Looking back on last week, the event was an overwhelming success, attracting 230+ delegates, speakers and sponsors from many countries. The conference provided great intellectual and social interaction for the participants. It offered an open atmosphere for both health and tech professionals to networking, learning and exploring top-notch ICT solutions and services in the booths. 

The seminar included refreshing presentations of companies like Philips Group Innovation, Entertainment Robotics and Lux Research, that succeeded to inspire the international attendees with their enthralling presentations. The keynotes of the Health Tech Event pointed out the trends in health, healthcare and wellbeing, while tangible ICT lifestyle solutions were showcased at the exhibition. Topics were Playful technologies, lifestyle 6.0, monitoring wearables, cognitive endurance; this edition of the Health Tech Event included a wide variety on the crossroads of science, technology and business in the med-tech and sensors industry. 

Throughout the day, the visitors were actively networking around the exhibition where EIT ICT Labs lined up with startups and activities of the Action Line Health and Wellbeing, showcasing ICT innovation to support people living safer, healthier and more active to an advanced age.
