The rapid development of today's digital technologies imposes significant upskilling challenges for European professionals — how can Europe keep its professionals at the forefront of digital technologies?

According to the World Economic Forum Future of Jobs Survey 2018, it is estimated that 54% of all professionals will require significant reskilling and upskilling by 2022.

The EIT Digital Professional School meets this demand, with the objective of keeping European professionals at the forefront of today’s fast-paced digital technologies through an innovative portfolio of blended learning courses for professionals working in the digital sector and sectors highly influenced by emerging digital technologies.

The objective of UPSKILLING STUDIO is to give an opportunity to experts from different backgrounds to discuss and address upskilling challenges and opportunities related to the digital transformation of Europe. The main topics include:

  • Business: How would businesses benefit from the upskilled workforce?
  • Technology: How can technology be leveraged to facilitate earning by doing on a large scale?
  • Education: How should educational institutes adapt to meet the learning requirements of the digital era?
