As Research Director Fabio Pianesi will be active in the definition of research priorities, of the tools to implement research strategies in EIT ICT Labs’ activities, and in the monitoring of their usage. He will also contribute to advancing the relationships with relevant bodies of European Union and with involved national governments (Finland, France, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden).
As Research Director Fabio is responsible for the research strategy and its deployment in EIT ICT Labs in order to fuel our research based innovation activities.
Mr. Pianesi has more than 20 years experience in research and leadership in ICT sector. Through his career, Fabio Pianesi has focused on topics such as Natural Language Processing, Human Computer Interaction, Independent Living, Social Computing and Human Behaviour Analysis.
During the last year Fabio Pianesi has lead the Experience & Living Labs Catalyst Builder of the EIT ICT Labs.
