The Stanford Summit on Innovation Ecosystems will explore the critical forces of innovation for dynamic change. Speakers from enterprises and academia in the US and Europe are presenting the best practices for accelerating innovation in organizations, sectors and regions. The program on July 11 will show ways to catalyze partnerships and collaborations among innovation analysts and activists.
MediaX, Stanford's catalyst for industry and academic research into the impact of information and technology on society, are organizing the event. They have with great interest followed the ideas for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and asked EIT ICT Labs CEO Willem Jonker to talk about the EIT ICT Labs program in the context of ICT innovation ecosystems.
Several research teams, at Stanford and globally, are exploring new concepts for clusters – some geographical, some virtual. These explorations are gaining attention and promise to make significant contributions as they become more sophisticated and develop some comparability so that scalable perspectives can be developed.
