The event takes place on October 19, 20, and 21 in Helsinki.
New cohort of technical talents to be educated as European innovators and entrepreneurs
All EIT Digital Master School students studying in one of our European partner universities, gather in Helsinki for a three-day event with introduction and deepdive in innovation and entrepreneurship. The event marks the get-go of Europe's premiere education programme for the innovation and entrepreneurial talent of the future.
More than three hundred international students come together to build the foundation of their pan-European network, meet the local partner in Helsinki and be inspired by an exhausting, yet inspiring programme. Also in these three days they should, with newly met fellow-students, think out and pitch an innovative business idea in a realistic business challenge competition.
Learning to think as an entrepreneur is a key element for the EIT Digital Master School. The programme seeks out the best students and equips them with cutting-edge technical knowledge and business skills so that they can go on to help assure Europe's role in the global digital economy.
The EIT Digital Master School students can choose to study from eight master school programmes taught by a network of top European universities. During the two-year course they will have to complete a work placement as well as a two-week Summer School programme. Graduates of the programme will be rewarded with a double master's degree coupled with a certificate from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Currently, 19 partner universities in seven countries participate in the scheme.
