Collaboration will strengthen EIT Digital presence in Poland, increase impact on Polish innovation ecosystem, and help Polish deep tech scaleups grow internationally.

Brussels, 4 October 2019 – EIT Digital and Kraków Technology Park (KTP) signed a partnership agreement on joint support of the Polish innovation ecosystem.

“This partnership will help us to connect Polish digital deep tech companies with EIT Digital's EU-wide innovation ecosystem of more than 200 industry, research and university partners. It will boost the growth of Polish scaleups by working together with EIT Digital's business developers and access to finance experts. And the cooperation will help bridge the digital skills gap by better serving Polish students and professionals with EIT Digital's education and training activities,” said EIT Digital’s Head of External Collaboration, Fabio Pianesi.

KTP is the most complete one-stop-shop for businesses operating in Poland. KTP provides a full toolbox for better and faster development of its clients. Its developed ecosystem supports more than 350 enterprises by providing the best conditions for business development and sales growth.

Wojciech Przybylski, President of the Board of KTP, commented that “Joining ARISE Europe and commencing cooperation with EIT Digital Accelerator is one of our biggest wins of this year! We are honoured to be a part of the EIT Digital family and to support Polish scaleups through EIT Digital’s tools to develop their businesses in entire Europe.

Our goal now is to encourage both medium and big companies from Poland to work with international startups and scaleups in accordance with Krakow Technology Park’s mission to provide innovative solutions to businesses that feel the beat of fast-changing world and are willing to keep up with it.

EIT Digital already supports Polish scaleup companies actively in their endeavour to grow and conquer new markets. Synerise, one of Europe’s most promising AI scaleups, followed in June 2019.
