EIT Digital and European partners to showcase their impactful digital wellbeing solutions at MEDICA 13-16 November 2017

From 13 to 16 November 2017 EIT Digital and its European partners will attend MEDICA Health IT Forum 2017 in Düsseldorf at the fair in Hall 15, at the co-exhibitor booth E56/E60.

4 Innovation activities of EIT Digital Wellbeing Action Line will together with their business champions showcase their latest solutions: ELEMENT (ki-elements), MEMOSA, ESSENCE (Nively), Wellbeing@work (PRINDIT).

2 Scaleups from the EIT Digital Accelerator will also attend the show: Ignilife and Checkpoint Cardio.

EIT Digital together with partners will pitch at the Green Stage (booth 15 E60) on Wednesday 15 November from 4PM to 5:30PM and will join a panel discussion on "Digital Care - how care will look like in the near future" at the Red Stage (booth 15 E56) on November 14, 4PM - 5:30PM.

ki-elements, DFKI    

ELEMENT: Element has developed and recently launched an app called DELTA (via the recently created startup ki-elements) that enables neuropsychological assessment for cognitive decline such as dementia. As it is based on speech analysis in non-clinical settings, it results in faster and earlier diagnosis and intervention.

Telecom Italia

MEMOSA: Be more aware and drive safer. That’s the promise of Memosa who is developing a connected car solution to help drivers to be aware of their physical and psychological state while driving. Therefore, the solution Memosa is working on should improve road safety and reduce overall insurance costs.


ESSENCE: Empowering Safer homes for Seniors through Connected Technologies. Essence is a service that makes the homes of senior people safer with limited need for installations through a solution that allows detecting risky situations. Among others, it monitors daily activities in real time and prompts actions such as emergency calls if required.


PRINDIT: Prindit has developed and launched a methodology and cloud-based services for employers to boost performance and wellbeing at work. It creates conditions to excel through weekly measurements and analytics about how people find meaning in their working activities.

EIT Digital Accelerator scaleups attending are:


IGNILIFE: Ignilife provides preventive digital therapy made to engage. This is realized through clinically-proven social and gamified powered health prevention and wellness solutions for corporations, insurance companies, and health providers.


CHECKPOINT CARDIO: Checkpoint Cardio combines advanced medical devices with software to follow a patient’s vital parameters in real time. This reduces visits to the doctor and can prevent sudden cardiac death.
