The scaleup Expivi has joined the EIT Digital Accelerator. The Eindhoven-based company provides a simple-to-use cloud-based platform that revolutionizes the customer journey and experience of online shopping. Its interactive and visual e-commerce platform generates immersive shopping experience, with the help of instant 3D configurations and augmented reality (AR). Expivi provides its technology already to a number of renown brands and has recently entered a partnership with SAP.

Dutch scaleup Expivi enables brands and retailers to implement 3D technology without using a single line of code. By using Expivi’s user-friendly-tools on their own existing marketplace, businesses can effortlessly upgrade their online stores. As a Software-as-a-Service solution, clients can implement the technology all within the web browser. They just need to log in into the platform to easily set up and apply projects without the help of third-party tools and assistance. Customers can experience the products in 3D, AR and 360 degrees to have a much better understanding about their appearance and usage. This 3D experience improves the buying decisions which results in more sales and less returns.

Recently, Expivi completed successfully the SAP.IO programme where the technology was successfully integrated into the SAP ecosystem. As a result, SAP Commerce Cloud customers - former Hybris - can embed Expivi’s solution in their current website and offer a 3D experience to the customers. In addition, customers of SAP CPQ (Callidus cloud) are able to use the power of SAP for product management and pricing and combine that with Expivi for Visualisation, using the same data in multiple channels. In addition to SAP, Expivi has already been integrated with Salesforce, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify and many more.

Founded in 2017, Expivi is headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands with additional offices in Paris and New York. “As next steps, we will open offices in Munich as well as in Salt Lake City,” explains Babak Mirzaie, Co-Founder and CEO of Expivi, his expansion plans. “We look forward to collaborate with the EIT Digital Accelerator to further strengthen our presence not just in Germany and the US, but also France and the Benelux countries.”

“Expivi is changing the industry standard as we speak,” adds Willem-Fredrik Metzelaar from the EIT Digital Accelerator. “The great responses from their current customers and their partner SAP show that we are dealing with the new standard of customer experience.” Currently Expivi has about 60 customers in various industries including global players and renown brands such as L’Oréal, Villeroy & Boch, Desma, Deli Home, Gispen, Armis Polo, Eduard, Lancôme, barbas bellfires and Viktor & Rolf.
