Alain le Loux, serial entrepreneur and Business Accelerator EIT ICT Labs, has presented an inspiring talk at the screening of the Startup Kids at the High Tech Campus, Eindhoven end of April. The Startup kids is a film about young entrepreneurs in digital age made by two of these entrepreneurs themselves.
Startup Kids is a documentary about the growing number of young web dynamos such as the founders of Vimeo, Soundcloud, Kiip, InDinero, Dropbox, and Foodspotting in the U.S. and Europe. Made by two Icelandic entrepreneurs who founded their first company shortly after the economic collapse of Iceland, this doc is an insider’s look into what it takes to make it even when everyone is telling you it is impossible.
Alain le Loux was next to the interviewees in the doc an inspiring speaker but then live - on stage. He brought EIT ICT Labs and its business development programme in the spotlight as an initiative that really supports ICT startups. And on top of this he showcased his experience as a serial entrepreneur of starting one’s own businesses, the kick, the workload, the hype and burning money. His hints, do’s and don’ts were well received by the audience. A brief inquiry amongst the audience showed that he was appreciated as most inspiring !
