Coventry University, one of the EIT Digital Summer School organisers 2021, is offering 20 seats for free for EIT Digital Summer School participants. This scholarship is available for any individual in the world studying healthcare, professions in the healthcare industry, supply chain or health care organisations. This is just one of the three ways for attendees to get their course fee paid.
The EIT Digital Summer School is hosting eleven summer schools in 2021 with various partners across Europe. In the EIT Digital summer schools, professionals get to know how emerging technologies impact their business and how to turn technology into new business. All summer schools are centered around one of EIT Digital’s focus areas Digital Cities, Digital Industry, Digital Finance, Digital Tech and Digital Wellbeing. In two weeks time participants learn to understand new technologies and to apply them to business models, and work in teams to solve real business cases from industry.
The sponsorship of Coventry University applies for the UK Summer School Data Visualisation and Connectivity for Healthcare which Coventry University as EIT Digital Summer School partner already is hosting for several years. This year the school is to take place from 25 July to 7 August
Participants who are eligible for the stipend, can apply for it on the EIT Digital Summer School application portal. The special code to use in the application portal "CUSTIPEND2021" is applicable until 24 May 2021. Once accepted, they can enter the EIT Digital Summer School at Coventry University for free.
The Coventry University stipend is one of the three ways to get the course fee waved of one of the eleven EIT Digital Summer Schools.
Finnish professionals with residence in Finland have the opportunity to obtain a stipend from the Finnish Institute of Technology (FiTech). FiTech wants to contribute to the development of Finnish innovation capacity and to respond to competence demands arising in the field of engineering. Therefore, it offers 50 Finnish residents the opportunity to learn for free at an EIT Digital Summer School of choice. To be eligible, professionals should have a bachelor's or higher degree, and/or work experience in technology sector. If a participant is approved by FiTech, the EIT Digital Summer School programme is free of charge. Making use of the code "FITECH2021" in the application form is possible until 10 May 2021.
The last sponsorship comes from EIT Digital itself and is aimed at students from the so-called ARISE countries. Eligible students could have applied for the tuition waiver until 1 April 2021. This waiver applies for students who are enrolled at a university and have a nationality in one of the following 14 EU countries (ARISE): Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, or Slovenia.
The application date for the Summer in general is 1 June.
