Health Tech Event 2013 at High Tech Campus

Health Tech Event – Open Innovation to combat world health issues

29 January 2013, High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands,

With the ever-increasing rise in an aging population, new or non-curable diseases, the lack of medical infrastructure in many countries and the constant pressure on governments to better manage costs, healthcare is more than ever a critical global issue.

Collaborative open innovation between industry players can significantly contribute to combating world healthcare issues and help find solutions that can be implemented faster and more effectively.

These issues and more are the focus of the Health Tech Event taking place at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, January 29, 2013. Speakers and participants will discuss how open innovation gives them a competitive edge.

EIT ICT Lab's Action Line Health & Wellbeing gives 'acte de présence' with a stand at the exhibition. A workshop will be moderated and presented by Jean Gelissen, action line leader of Health & Wellbeing.

The High Tech Campus is one of the world’s most prominent innovations hub and keynote speakers from Philips and the Center for Translational Molecular Medicine will present their views on how science and business can work together to achieve better results.

The Health Tech Event is designed to create a platform for open and collaborative innovation by marrying science, technology and business in healthcare and its venue at the HTCE is the perfect setting for participants, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors to meet and exchange experiences.
