Cognitive radio provides a flexible platform that enables the design of systems using the spectrum in radically new ways. How to harness the power the cognition offers is however still an open problem.
Crowncom 2012 covers a broad range of important and timely issues related to spectrum regulation and use of TV white spaces, techno-economical analysis, and development of new concepts and algorithms to further improve the performance of the cognitive radio systems.
