Master School students at EIT ICT Labs Budapest

In September this year, 16 students start their master’s studies at EIT ICT Labs Budapest. In this second, final year of the international programme, 13 of the students will study at Eötvös Loránd University (9 at the major SDE and 4 at S&P), and 3 students will study DMT at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

The EIT ICT Labs Master School education is launched at BME this year, thus the two Hungarian universities that participate in the programme are organizing the orientation week for the students jointly on 1-5 September. The aim of the welcome week is facilitating the integration of the new students into the university life in Budapest, introducing them to the Budapest CLC and to the colleagues working there, as well as arranging a meeting for them with their future professors and fellow students. In the framework of the programme series, students can visit the most important Hungarian IT companies, such as Ericsson and Crysys, to get to know the internship opportunities offered by them.

Besides practical information, the colleagues of the CLC have planned some cultural activities as well: an all-day sightseeing tour in Budapest, a campus tour, and a team building visit to Szimpla Garden, the most famous ruin pub in Budapest.

We wish our new students an easy start here in Budapest!
