TinniTracks won the Idea Challenge 2012 on Digital Life of the Future with their business plan for a low-threshold remedy for people suffering from tinnitis hearing disease in Munich on Saturday. The TinniTracks team consisting of four students from Vienna received a cheque of 6.000 EUR.

Second and third prizes of resp. 3000€ and 1000€ went to Magazino (‘simple storage for farmacies’) and PHI (‘clever movie post-production’). All three teams were decorated with the Future Entrepreneurs’ Award 2012.

Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) and EIT ICT Labs welcomed seven student teams to perform their pitch in front of a jury of leading VCs and successful founders. The finals were part of a larger event taking place in Munich 13-15 December. Finalists benefited from individual coaching and workshops by entrepreneurs, as well as networking opportunities.

Over 130 teams from the whole of Europe applied with a business idea. Other than German students, contributions were collected from representatives of Austria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Finland, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
