"The Métropole French Tech" is aimed at turning France into a large start-ups accelerator. It is a label awarded to short number of vibrant local ecosystems where start-ups, investors and foreign talents can easily find the needed ingredients to accelerate their development.
On November 2014, Rennes, together with 8 other ecosystems, was proud to be awarded the precious label. On June 2015, Sophia Antipolis in a joint effort with Nice, Cannes and Grasse was labelled "french tech CÔTE D’AZUR".
Through its two French satellites, Rennes and Sophia Antipolis, EIT Digital actively participated into the French Tech application process. In both ecosystems, EIT Digital plays a crucial role in accelerating business development of local start-ups in Europe and worldwide.
