The EIT Governing Board decided to appoint Prof Jorma Lammasniemi as a Representative Member to the board with immediate effect. There were many strong candidates but the EIT Governing Board is pleased to have found four elected representatives that provide a good balance between academia, business and research, as well as in European geographical spread. They truly represent a further strengthening of the innovation expertise of the EIT Governing Board, according to Martin Schuurmans, Chairman EIT Governing Board.
