INiTS, one of the iHub network members, have hosted and organized the NASA Space Apps Challenge of 2015 in Vienna on the 11th and 12th of April.

The Brainterestellar team got selected in the finals of People’s Choice Category to be one of the 25 finalist out of 130 participants, and will be part of the public voting on the Space Apps Challenge, among with teams from 40+ countries.

The International NASA Space Apps Challenge is the world biggest hackathon that takes place over 48-hours in 130+ cities with aim to create open-source solutions for global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. This unprecedented international collaboration between government agencies, organizations, academic institutions and pioneers from around the world present challenges from 4 different areas - Earth, Outer Space, Humans and Robotics.

INiTS is a member of the I3H network. The I3H project is a MoU with the EIT ICT Labs and the FI-PPP. The core team of the project counts with representatives from the EIT ICT Labs nodes in Paris, Madrid, Trento, Helsinki, Eindhoven and Budapest.
