EIT ICT Labs London Node Appoints New Node Director

The London Node of EIT ICT Labs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Dennis Moynihan as full time Director.

Dennis Moynihan brings a wealth of ICT innovation, higher education and leadership experience to the position, having served in a variety of senior private, public, academic, start-up, and third sector roles. Until this appointment Dennis worked, with the Institute for Sustainability, collaborating with the Smart London Board, EIT Climate-KIC, and other partners in shaping and delivering a range of “smart city” innovation projects. 
 
Dennis MoynihanDennis Moynihan assumes the role held to date by Paul Jenkins who served as interim director. Paul, the head of collaborative research for BT, led the London node team from its initiation though to the official establishment of the London Node as part of the wider ICT community. Paul will remain closely involved in EIT ICT Labs, representing BT and helping to shape future activities. 

We are pleased that Dennis has agreed to bring his expertise and experience to the London node and that he will soon begin working with the Node partners and EIT colleagues to focus on bringing together research, education and entrepreneurship to help drive European leadership in ICT innovation. Dennis will take up his new position from the 1st of April. 

We congratulate Dennis on this new and exciting appointment and wish him all the best in his new role as EIT ICT Labs London Node Director.
