Johan Kortas

<em>Prior to joining EIT Digital, Johan held various international positions in project, product and program management in different locations for Philips. He was active in the digitization of business telecommunications, digital broadcast, content protection, consumer electronics and emerging businesses through corporate ventures. The last seven years he was driving business creation, innovation projects and business development in several startups within the area of Health & Wellbeing. Most recently he was leading the business development for Wearable Health Solutions within IMEC at the Holst center in Eindhoven.</em>

Johan Kortas has been appointed Digital Wellbeing Action Line Leader at EIT Digital, the leading European open innovation organization.

Johan holds a Master in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology in Eindhoven and a Master of Business Marketing from the TIAS School for Business and Society in Tilburg.

"We welcome Johan to the EIT Digital team. His knowledge of health and wellbeing wearable solutions as well as his digital technological knowledge are essential for our Digital Wellbeing Action Line, where we leveraging digital technologies for prevention and early detection and management of psychological and physical conditions. We look forward to see Johan supporting the delivery of wellbeing innovations to the market", said EIT Digital CEO Willem Jonker.
