EIT Digital's Core Partner, Deutsche Telekom, launched its Telekom Innovation Contest and is seeking once again for smart innovators worldwide. Start-ups and innovators can apply until October 15 here in three categories. The contest is the unique access to the exclusive Innovation Expo in Budapest, where start-ups meet Deutsche Telekoms business units.

Shopboostr wins Wild Card on Startup Night Berlin

The first team for the Expo is already set: The Berlin based team Shopboostr successfully applied for a Wild Card, which Heinrich Arnold, SVP Research & Innovation and Global Head of T-Labs, handed over at Startup Night Berlin. Shopboostr increases conversion rates for web-shops by using big data analytics and behavioral-based algorithms to provide individual product- and purchasing incentives.

„You create. We connect“ – Innovation Expo Budapest

For the first time, the applying teams can win the chance to join a unique event taking place in Budapest in the end of November this year. With the Innovation Expo a platform has been created to foster the exchange between the startup and the corporate world. Beside a spot on the expo the teams are invited to meet descision makers from Telekom’s business units, venture units and National Companies. The winning teams of Telekom Innovation Contest 2015 will take part in this invite only event.

Innovators from Smart Data, Industry 4.0 and Future Communication

Teams can apply from now on, startups and innovators from all over the world are invited to submit their ideas. According to Deutsche Telekoms hottest topics, solutions should cover one of the categories: Smart Data Analytics, Future Communication or Industry 4.0/ IoT. Because Deutsche Telekom is looking for mature ideas, the teams have to present at least a working prototype.
