Distribusion picking up speed in its international expansion

EIT Digital Accelerator supported Distribusion, a B2B travel tech venture that makes booking an intercity bus ticket as easy as booking a flight, is gaining success after success as is scales up internationally. Recent achievements include collaboration with EIT Digital partner Amadeus, a successful 6M euro funding round, and recognition at the prestigious NOAH startup competition.

Collaboration with Amadeus

Distribusion and EIT Digital partner <link about-us partners affiliate-partners article amadeus>Amadeus, an expert and provider of technology for ticketing, reservation management, have just announced a ground-breaking collaboration to facilitate access to intercity bus ticket bookings for travel agencies in German-selling markets. An integration into the Amadeus Selling Platform is planned within the next months.

Funding helps to scale up

Recently, Distribusion <link news-events news article distribusion-a-startup-supported-by-eit-digital-raises-6m-euros>raised a 6M Euros funding with the support of EIT Digital. The funding enables Distribusion to expand their team and roll out their business on a global scale. Since it was founded in 2012, Distribusion has brought more than 100 intercity bus operators on board throughout 25 European and Asian countries.

Finalist in NOAH startup competition

Distribusion is one of 50 selected scaleups that were brought together at the NOAH conference in Berlin on 8-9 June. After successfully pitching on the stage, voting is now open to support Distribusion to win high-impact prizes and to present their product on the maing stage of the NOAH conference in London. EIT Digital supports the competition and will award the winners a coaching session on internationalization and fund raising.
