The third annual FORBES 30 Under 30 Europe List recognizes young business and industry disrupters in ten categories. Meet the three EIT Digital innovators and entrepreneurs featured in the list for 2018:
DAMAE Medical co-founders Anaïs Barut (CEO) and David Siret (CTO) were featured in the category Science & Healthcare. The French company, founded in 2014, developed a non-invasive way to increase the detection of early-stage melanoma. Their groundbreaking imaging technique is capable of producing images similar to histology images without the need for biopsies. DAMAE Medical won the EIT Digital Challenge in 2015 and most recently raised 2 million EUR in funding.
Aleksander Ciszek, CEO and co-founder of 3YOURMIND was featured in the category Industry. The German-based scaleup provides 3D printing software solutions for Industry 4.0 workflows as well as 3D printing services. 3YOURMIND’s software is geared towards the analysis of printability, pricing and time to provide more efficient workflows for additive manufacturing. The company was an EIT Digital Challenge winner in 2014 and joined the EIT Digital Accelerator shortly after. In November 2017, they closed a 10 million EUR Series A funding round for further development of their software solutions.
Eva Aasmäe is the Lead Development Engineer for the successful products created at Nordic Automation Systems (NAS). The Estonian-Norwegian scaleup, founded in 2014, offers sensor technologies, data analysis and monitoring systems for smart gas, water and heat metering as well as Smart City street lighting solutions. The technology is based on wireless long-range and low power wide area network (LoRaWAN) and enables NAS to provide full vertical end-to-end applications with lowest costs. NAS is present in more than 25 countries and supported by the EIT Digital Accelerator.
