Matchmaking in Kista for Master thesis projects

On October 7 the EIT ICT Labs Master students in Kista, Stockholm had two matchmaking events to attend and try to find a suitable organization or company to connect with, looking for their particular competence and profile.

In the Electrum building where the EIT ICT Labs Stockholm Node and KTH School of ICT is located the options ranged from 5G transport challenges, M2M communication ( technical aspects), Robust network abstraction for Software Defined Networks to Making a difference in healthcare and much more.

Following briefings about the practical process of the master thesis work those who wished to meet with industry representatives could do so at the Degree Project Meetup in the nearby NOD building, a joint event with KTH, The Computer Science Department, DSV at the Stockholm University and Stockholm IT region.

Large, global enterprises such as Ericsson, Scania and IBM were present as well as SMEs and governmental authorities, i. e the digital agency iProspect and the Swedish Armed Forces. The events are growing every year and is an important part of recruiting new top talents and build relations between academia and business.
