The fast-growing health technology scaleup Atlas Biomed, combining the latest DNA and Microbiome technologies to help inspire users into making positive lifestyle changes, has joined EIT Digital to accelerate its development plans and access new European and international markets.

Atlas Biomed is the first company to offer both DNA and Microbiome testing kits for use at home. Both tests feed into an online platform, which allows consumers to take control of their health through actionable, precise and personalised lifestyle recommendations.

Atlas Biomed's CEO Sergey Musienko explains: "Good personal health starts with prevention. We must face the facts: more and more people are suffering from diseases like obesity and diabetes. Knowing your body and its workings has never been more important. Understanding your body from the inside out can help you to take control of your health and be clearer on the potential risks, turning attitudes to healthcare from reactive to proactive."

By joining EIT Digital's accelerator, the scaleup will work closely with the international teams to move forward through the European countries, Russia but also plans to target the Americas and Asia by 2019 and 2020.

"We are incredibly excited to partner with EIT Digital and to work hand in hand with over a hundred other interesting businesses" comments Musienko.
