A Chilian delegation of officers from universities and technology ministries, in charge of innovation and transfer, visited France (Paris, Saclay, Sophia-Antipolis and Rennes), thanks to a European funding. The objective of that visit was to understand how research could support innovation and transfer in France and in Europe. This will help to set-up an innovation policy which is a major priority for the Chilian government.
The goal for Chili is to become the South American innovation platform, an ambitious project. Inria is proud to contribute actively to it through the launch of the «Fondation Inria Chile » as well of the « Centre de Recherche et d’Innovation CIRIC ».
All members of the delegation said that they had been really impressed by the future-oriented and visionnary activities run by EIT ICT Labs in France and in Europe.
